to quickly craft
your own promotional assets for your SummerFest event!
Step
1
Sign up for Figma using your UniMelb
email
address, then Install
Figma and the Figma
Font
Installer.
Note: Figma works best in the Desktop app rather than in your browser.

Mac: Open the Font Book app and import the font
PC: Add the font to C:\Windows\Fonts folder or right-click on the font and click Install
Once your file is open in Figma, you will be able to edit the text on your template. Go to the Repeatable
Assets frame
and then press
T to use
the Text
Tool, or
click on
the Text
Tool in the bottom toolbar.
Edit the
text to suit your
event by adding in
the name, date,
time,
location.

Click on
the checkered
image, and then go
to the Inspector
Panel on
the right
and click on the Fill property to
change the image. Click on Choose Image to upload
an image from your
computer. If you don't have an image ready, check out some of these free resources.


You can
export all the
frames by
pressing CMD+E
(CTRL+E
on
PC) and
click Export to
download
to your computer.
Or you can export
specific frames by
clicking on the
frame and going to Export in
the Inspector Panel on
the right.
