About Us 

The Communications, Marketing and Events (CME) team is your go-to place for all project management and promotional needs. 

CME supports UMSU Student Representatives, staff and Volunteer Program Directors to create a genuine connection with the students of UniMelb. We do this by helping you bring to life your student-focused activities and events. We can help with planning, creation, marketing, promotion and evaluation to see what went well and what can be learned for next time. Find out more about how we can help you by checking out our Service Charter here.

Our office is located in Rooms 413+414 in Level 4 of Building 168. CME also facilitates student-facing services through the Info Desk, located on Level 1 of Building 168. 

Unfortunately, CME is unable to provide support to individual clubs and societies. Please contact the Clubs Department (clubs@union.unimelb.edu.au) if you need any assistance.

Meet Our Team 

CME is made up of internal 3 teams: 

Communications (Comms) 

The Communications team is led by Comms Coordinator Kara-Lynne, with Comms Officers Skye and Em, plus our Social Media Intern. They’re here to help you with all things marketing and promotion.  

Design 

The Design team comprises Design Coordinator Joey and designers Jas and Nykki. Design helps you with images and posters for your campaigns and events. 

Events 

Caro leads the Events team as Events Coordinator, with Production Officer Milly, Operations Officer Charlie, and Program Officer Julian. They're here to help you set up your events and logistics. 

CME is lead by our Divisional Manager Dee.
