About Us 

The Communications & Design team is your go-to place for all your promotion, communication, branding and digital needs at UMSU. 

We support UMSU Student Representatives and staff to create a genuine connection with the students of UniMelb. We do this by helping you bring to life your student-focused activities and programs. We can help with planning, creation, marketing, promotion and evaluation to see what went well and what can be learned for next time. 

Our office is located in Room 409 in Level 4 of Building 168.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide support to individual clubs and societies. Please contact the Clubs Department (clubs@union.unimelb.edu.au) if you need any assistance.

Meet Our Team 

Communications & Design is made up of three internal teams: 

Communications (Comms) 

The Communications team is made up of Comms Officers Skye and Em, plus our Social Media Intern. They’re here to help you with all things marketing and promotion.  

Design 

The Design team is made up of Designers Jas and Nikki. Design helps you with images and posters for your campaigns and events. 

Project Management 

The Project Management team is made up of Project Officers Josh and Belinda, who help coordinate the team's support for student and staff projects across the organisation. 

Communications & Design is led by Juliette Elfick, Head of Comms & Design.
